The King of the Felt promotion at Bovada Poker is one of the most unique promos in online poker. It’s a promotion that resembles the childhood game “king of the hill” but with a few twists to keep it interesting. There are a variety of prizes that you can win with this promotion, including a trip to the 2012 World Series of Poker.

How It Works

Participation in the King of the Felt promo is all about winning SNG tournaments. If you win money in three or more SNGs in a single week, you’ll get one entry to a weekly drawing. You can win up to three entries every week. In addition to winning entries to a weekly drawing, you will also win entries to freeroll poker tournaments. I’ll explain the drawing in a second, but here’s a quick overview of this first part so far:

Place in 3 or more SNGs: One entry to the drawing

Place in 6-8 SNGs: Two entries to the drawing and a $1500 freeroll entry

Place in 9 or more SNGs: Three entries to the drawing, a $1500 freeroll entry and a $1000 freeroll entry

The drawing is where things get really good. If you win the drawing, you’ll get a chance to challenge the current King of the Felt in a heads-up tournament. If you beat the king, you’ll win $1000 and become the new King. Every week after that, a new challenger will face off against you and try to claim himself the King of the Felt.

The longer you stay the king, the better it gets. In addition to the $1000 prize you can win every week, you’ll get a $2500 bonus if you remain the king for five consecutive weeks. And if you make all the way to 10 weeks as the king, you’ll win a travel package to the 2012 WSOP.

Terms and Conditions

This promotion is pretty straightforward. Just make sure you show up every week for the tournament. If you don’t show up, you’ll lose your chance. Also note that only SNGs with 6 or more people count towards earning entries to the drawing. Beginner tournaments and double-up tournaments also do not count.
