PokerStars Bonus Code
As the biggest poker site in the world and the proud owner of a flawless reputation, PokerStars probably doesn’t even need to offer a deposit bonus in the first place. However, PokerStars is hugely competitive and therefore offers all new players a healthy signup bonus. If you use the current PokerStars bonus code when you sign up for a new account at PokerStars, you’ll get a 100% bonus for up to $600 extra.

How the PokerStars Bonus Works
When you sign up for an account at PokerStars, you will be asked for your “PokerStars bonus code” at some point. Type the bonus code STARS600 when you see that field and you will be flagged to receive an extra 100% when you make your first real money deposit. After that, your bonus money will be released in increments of $10 as you play in real money ring games and tournaments at PokerStars.
One of the unique advantages of this deposit bonus is that you can spread it across up to three different deposits. If you don’t have enough money on hand to get the full $600, you can deposit a little bit now and then get the rest of the bonus later. Keep in mind that this only works for your first three deposits and there is a limit of 90 days across which the deposits can be made.
So let’s say you deposit $100 at PokerStars right now. You’ll get an extra $100 dropped in your pending bonus account. A week from today, you get paid and decide to take advantage of the rest of the bonus. So you deposit $500 and get an extra $500 in bonus money. In total, you will have $600 worth of bonuses.
Clearing Requirements
The PokerStars bonus is released to your real money account by earning VPPs. You must earn 17 VPPs for each dollar in bonus money. Every time you earn $10 worth of money (170 VPPs), that $10 is moved from your bonus account to your real money account. You will have a total of six months to earn out your entire bonus.
VPPs are earned by playing in real money ring games and tournaments. Tournaments give out 5.5 VPPs for every dollar paid in tournament fees. Ring games award VPPs at a rate of 6 VPPs per dollar paid in rake.
This bonus is not too tough to earn out. PokerStars is not stingy with its VPPs and players are given a solid six months to clear the entire bonus. Most poker sites limit their clearing window to 60 days, but PokerStars gives everyone a full 6 months. It’s hard for us to imagine anyone having trouble clearing the whole bonus.
On top of that, PokerStars is the busiest poker site on the planet. You can log on any time of the day or night and find tens of thousands (or hundreds of thousands) of players logged in and ready to play. Needless to say, you will never have a problem finding games and earning VPPs.
