Bodog Poker is one of the largest online poker rooms in the world. Thanks to a poker team that includes such well-known professional names as Evelyn Ng and David Williams, Bodog is also one of the most widely recognized online poker rooms. Bodog Poker uses its own proprietary software designed exclusively for its site. Recently, Bodog released a new software package that is improved in all poker playing aspects. Instructions for Downloading and Installing Bodog
- Click on the Download button found on the homepage of the Bodog Poker site. This is located near the text that reads Play Bodog Poker on the left side of the page.
- At the download page, click Save to put the BodogPokerClient.exe file on the computer's desktop.
- Go to the desktop and double click on the Bodog Poker icon. This initiates installation.
- When the Bodog Poker Setup Wizard opens, click the Next button twice. Installation is complete in just a few minutes.

After the Bodog Poker software is installed, players can click the Join Now button located in the top right corner of the page. This takes players to the registration page, where they complete the required information to establish an account.
Instructions for Claiming Bonuses at Bodog Poker
After a player registers with Bodog Poker, the following steps can be taken to claim the new player bonus.
- Go to the Cashier function and deposit money into the new player account using one of the convenient methods provided by Bodog Poker.
- A 10% bonus on the first deposit amount is automatically credited to the player's account.

Bodog Mac and Linux Options
Mac and Linux users can play at Bodog Poker with the Instant Play version of its software. This play occurs right in the user's Internet browser and is supported by Java. Although all of the same options in the download version are not available, Instant Play is stable and fully operational.

The Bodog Poker download is a svelte 6.0 MB, making it very quick to download and install on your PC. Bodog Poker is not available for Mac or Linux users unfortunately. Being an independent online poker room allows Bodoglife.com Poker to have a unique look and feel to its poker software. Bodog Poker makes full use of this independence to create an online poker interface that is unlike any other.
The ‘poker table’ looks nothing like an actual poker table. It looks more like a piece of flat felt, with areas sectioned off for each players’ avatar, username, and other information to be displayed. See the screenshot above to fully see what I mean. It can take some getting used to, but if you can become comfortable with the wacky poker interface, then Bodog is a great poker room to play at. You can choose from several different background colors, and the game play is smooth, quick, and reliable. The Bodog Poker lobby is very Spartan, using only shades of grey, and it has minimal graphics. This makes it very simple to use, especially with the limited number of game variations offered.’
