Walker Poker is not the largest online poker site by any means, but they offer an enjoyable environment that generally has soft competition. The Walker Poker download provides players with a good numbers of gaming options. The Walker Poker Download Process
First, you will need to open a new tab or window within your Internet browser and go to www.walkerpoker.com. On the right side of the page you will see Free Download. Click on that link and you will be taken to an instructions page with a popup that asks you to save or run a file. The file will be named WalkerPokerInstaller.exe.
For simplicity, click on Save and select your desktop as the location. Once the download has completed, you are going to need to go to your desktop. Keep in mind, this is an .exe file that is only executable on the Windows operating system. If you are a Mac or Linux user, you will need to be running parallels, crossover, VMWare Fusion or a Windows emulator to download and install the Walker Poker software.
Go to your desktop and double click on the WalkerPokerInstaller.exe file. This will open the installation wizard. Follow the onscreen directions that guide you through the installation. The program is naturally going to be installed by default into your Program Files folder. Once the installation has completed, you will have a Walker Poker icon on your desktop. Double click the Walker Poker icon to launch the poker client.
Registering For Your Walker Poker Account
When you launch the poker client, you will start at a login screen. You should see an option that says Create Account. Click on this option. The next screen will give you two options that pertain to new players. The options are Full Account or Basic Account.
The Full Account will allow you to play for play money as well as real money and will allow you to enter freerolls and tournaments. The Basic Account will allow you to watch real money games but you will only be able to play for play money. It is recommended to select Full Account even if you only plan on playing for play money.
If you click on Full Account, the next page will be a submission style form. In this form, you will be providing some basic personal information. The information requested contains things such as your email address, gender, name, date of birth, address, country and phone number.
You will also be creating a nickname and setting your password. The form will tell you if your nickname is already in use or not. Only one of each nickname is allowed. Players cannot have duplicate nicknames. Once you are finished, agree to the terms of service and click Submit. You are now ready to login and make your first deposit. You are awarded a free ticket to the $50 freeroll for new players just for creating a full account as long as you complete your details in the Cashier. This tourney runs every three hours.

Once you are logged in, you will see two tabs in the upper left corner. One says Lobby and the other says Cashier. You want to go into the Cashier tab.
