Yahoo Poker is an online poker site that came out in 2007. The Yahoo Poker site is part of the International Poker Network and is powered by Boss Media. The Yahoo Poker site is licensed in Gibraltar with a full gambling license. They only offer a Flash-based version for the poker room, so you won't actually find a Yahoo Poker download at the official website.
There is no download necessary. However, you must have a proper version of Flash installed on your computer. Most players will find that they already have the necessary Flash requirements on their computer. However, if you do not, it is very easy and quick to install an updated version of Flash. The registration process is a matter of filling out a submission form that should only take a few minutes.
The game selection at Yahoo Poker is limited as they only offer Texas Holdem. Registration Process
In order to register at Yahoo Poker, you will first need to navigate your Internet browser to the Yahoo Poker homepage. The web address is uk.poker.games.yahoo.net. From the homepage, you will see a big link that says, Join Now. Click on that link.
Now you will be looking at a screen that gives you the option to login if you are an existing customer or register if you are a new user. Click on Register Now. At this point in the process, you will be filling out a simple submission form.
The submission form will ask you some basic personal information. The information asks for your first and last name, gender and date of birth in the top section. The bottom section will be asking you to create a username and password. It will also ask you to provide your email address, country and currency. You will also be confirming that you are over 18 and that you accept the Yahoo Poker terms and conditions.
Lastly, you will be providing your contact details. This includes your address and phone number. You will also setup a security word and prompt in this section for security measures whenever you are dealing with customer support.
At the very bottom of the screen, you will be asked to select Play For Practice or Play For Cash. Select Play For Cash if you wish to play with real money. Now, you have fully registered for a Yahoo Poker account. You will be emailed concerning your account activation.
Running the Yahoo Poker Client
Now that you have created a Yahoo Poker account, you will need to go back to the Yahoo Poker homepage and login. Once you are at the homepage, click on Join Now and login in as an existing user.
When you login, the Yahoo Poker Client will launch. If you are experiencing problems, you may need to update or install Flash on your computer. To do this, you will need to go to http://www.adobe.com/downloads/. Click on the link on the right hand side that says, Get Adobe Flash Player. The website will determine your operating system and bring you to a page with a download link for your specifications. Click the link that says Agree And Install Now. When the popup appears, click Install. This should only take a few minutes.
You may have to close out your Internet browser and restart it upon completion of the installation for the update to take effect. Now you are ready to go back into your Yahoo Poker account and login. Once you login, you should be able to launch the Yahoo Poker client without any problems. You are now ready to make your first deposit.

Yahoo Poker offers a 200% bonus offer for new players. In other words, when you deposit funds into your Yahoo Poker account, you will be given 200% on anything you deposit up to €1,000.
