Governor of Poker Summary

“GoP” is a very fun cartoon-like poker game that has a role playing feel to it. You have your character that you get to name whatever you like, and play different types of poker games in Old West Texas at saloons and other establishments. When you win a poker game, you win a certain amount of money. With that money you can buy the buildings in the town you are in. When you purchase all the buildings in town, you become the town’s mayor, and you after you take over your first town, you receive a horse that allows you to travel to any other town you choose.  Once you take all of the towns in Texas, you become the “Governor of Poker.”

Governor of Poker is loads of fun, and the cartoonish, light atmosphere of the game adds loads of fun to the gameplay experience for new and experienced poker players alike. The poker action is fun and fast paced. Each poker player character has their own unique personality, so you can learn how to play against each one as you progress through the games. Bigger poker games have harder opponents who get more aggressive and it is a challenge to learn and adapt to each different game.

Governor of Poker can be difficult to win for beginners, but it is easy to play and if you pay attention and know basic poker strategy, the games are fun and quick to learn.
