Poker Superstars II Summary

Poker Superstars II is a game that consists of a series of tournaments against top name poker pros that is based on the Fox Sports Television show by the same name. It features the likes of Barry (The Robinhood of Poker) Greenstein, Howard (The Professor) Lederer, and fourteen other for a total of 15 famous poker pros.  Each game is an elimination tournament where you face the poker pros in a succession of more difficult poker matches in different formats. If you can win the whole Poker Superstars Tournament, you are annointed the newest “Poker Star.”

Poker Superstars II also allows you to play fixed limit games that don’t rise over time  like in a regular casino, not tournament style like found on the TV gameshow.

Our Thoughts on Poker Superstars II

With realistic facial expressions and a poker AI that learns as it plays against you, Poker Superstars II is one of my favorite games on the market and it has stood the test of time as being one of the original poker video game classics.  There are different challenge levels that you can set so you can tune the game to be as easy or difficult as you want, which is a very nice touch. Once you beat PS II on an easy level, you can up the difficulty level and it seems to be a whole new game. This allows the game to be fun for all types of poker playing skill levels.
